Now that we've brought the sound quality in voice chat back higher and some peoplare using the voice chat server, thought I'd throw out the idea of setting up a regular time to meet? I know Maddog tried this once, but let's go for it again. Anyone have a good time? Also, if anyone wants to host a special voice chat event of any time, that can be arranged too. We can get you plenty of advertising on the site in the boards and in the rotating links at the top of the page, etc. Just reply back.
I love this idea. It would be so ocol to hear other people's voices and get to know folks in a different way, you know, more like a community than just the written word. Love it and agree one hundred per cent.
I'd be certainly interested in that idea. of course, the only issue is time gaps etc but i guess we'd just have to work round that.

I would deffinatly love to do that, but my peace of crap connection won't allow it, as the nearest place I can get broadband is in Vancouver British Columbia.
Well, it seems like the bulk of the interest is coming from North America. What's better for people on the weekends? Afternoons or evenings?
I'd love to do that, but I dont' have a mic. I have speakers and I'm on central time. I can't get connected to the vantrillow thing, cuz I don't know what my server is.
If you use the connect link, it should fill it in automatically. Failing that, the server is fast.streammadnes.com port 9663 with the password you set.
I'm all for voice chattt, as long as it's fun, and interesting, and, people talk to me? I cant' stand silence, or being the one to hold up the conversation. I find silence to be quite awkward. And, also, as I posted in the water cooler, I don't appreciate being verbally sexually harassed, but I'm sure you'll understand. If not, Charis will stay out, hahaha! I'm sure the occasional comment is cool, we all can think and act perverted sometimes, but I hate being ganged up by guys who have nothing better to do than to gang up on a girl or groups of girls and harass them, all in the name of fun! There's fun, and there's plain disgusting, wrong, rude, demeaning, etc, etc.

i am wondering what has happened to the voice chat server. No one is going on the voice chat server and i just want to know y this is occurring.
People go on when they feel liek it heh, or when they see others on there. It's usually more crowded in the evenings Pacific.
Well, I can't voice chat now, because I'm on dial up, but if and when I get dsl lite, I will always be in a safe haven room. I don't care if I end up being the only one in there for several hours, that's where I'll be found if I can ever get on it.

well i'd still like to try that zone radio idea i had which i planned for 7 to 9 or 8 to 10 eastern if you can promote that lol
weekends don't work for me but i"m on there when people I know are on there and i know about it. Weekends are only good for me in the winter months which are ending soon. I like new voices but I like some familiar ones too.
well, got to find the mike, but once i've done that, all good for me.
